The scheme is funded due to government through the National Cyber Security Programme. By making UK businesses steadier in cyberspace, as well as enabling businesses to profit from demonstrating their effectiveness back in managing cyber threats, it helps in order to meet a key element of the UK Cyber Security Strategy.
