ePractice moving to Joinup next week

Next Monday, 1 December 2014, the ePractice platform will become area of the Joinup collaborative platform. This combining will be completed within three goes, between 1 and 3 The end of the year, during which Joinup will be placed in read-only mode.

The ePractice and Joinup teams have safely and effectively completed a final rehearsal. We have been tests and rehearsing the migration during the last weeks and we are confident i would say the transition will be smooth.

Why are ePractice and Joinup being merged?

ePractice brings together policy makers and so practitioners in the fields of eGovernment, eHealth and eInclusion. The platform is made with a number of communities, yet it does not provide tools to support domain-specific re-usable advice. Joinup, on the other hand, consists of communities ture of developers and a catalogue of interoperability solutions. This means that overlaps and decent synergies are almost certain. Joinup offers interoperability for administration-to-administration records exchange and ePractice adds dwelling many good practices on eGovernment, eHealth and eInclusion. The users may possibly benefit from the consolidation of the applications into one platform, providing a direct link concerned with the solutions and the practitioners.

We would like to thank the ePractice and Joinup users, who maintain have certainly noticed the preliminary research for the upcoming migration, for their staying power during this period. The integration was an interesting issue. We are looking forward to next week. We hope you were too.
